On the first anniversary of his show, Tahir recalled the memories of the initial series of the program noting that "Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein was an exceptional show. The success of the show was a major shock to the entire world. The enthusiasm of viewers for the show, and the acclaim from critics I have received are truly one of the most memorable moments of 2022 for myself. This year, the show has been running for a year, and I am beyond thrilled. ."
"Like everybody else, we, as a group, are looking forward to the next Season of YKKA. Our team is working at ensuring that we have the same excitement and thrill that the previous season brought. We're scheduled to film this season and I'm hoping that it will be welcomed with the same zeal excitement and praise as the previous one."
We haven't heard any news about when the filming might start in the coming year. We do expect the filming to begin in the 2nd quarter of 2023. It could take anywhere from 6-8 months for the new season to be released on Netflix when production begins. We expect that the next season will be released during the first quarter of 2024.
Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein Season 2 Plot
The romantic crime thriller is fundamentally a dark, twisted love triangle. It is about a nice man Vikrant Singh Chauhan (Tahir Raj Bhasin) who's attracted to Shikha (Shweta Tripathi). In contrast, a daughter of a local politician Purva (Anchal Singh) is a lover of Vikrant from the time she was a child.
Purva is a fan of Vikrant and would like to marry Vikrant. She will reach any lengths to obtain Vikrant's love. It's a wild ride as Purva is seen causing pain to Vikrant's nearest and dear ones to gain his respect and love. With no choice, Vikrant ends up marrying Purva even though he would like to marry Shikha.
Season 1 closes on the edge of a cliffhanger, as Vikrant is hired by the services of a contract killer who will kill Purva. The plot doesn't go according to plan. The killer, named Godi takes Purva instead of murdering her and then insists on more cash. The tale will continue in the second season.
